He regularly advises nonprofit leaders regarding how to raise and appropriate funds without jeopardizing their tax exempt status. Simon also provides advice and counsel in employment law matters.

An active part of the community, Simon is a member of the North Central University Alumni Board, and a board member of the Richfield Foundation. He is also an elder in his church.
